How will you introduce yourself without any superficial markers? Please watch the video and make a speech about it.?

From my point of view today’s topic is a pathway leading to discover a real me without any easy-get labels such as hobby, personality, nation, religion, gender identity and so on. Then back to the key question—how I introduce myself to people without these superficial markers? My answer is that the paradox in your decisions、moods、and actions of your daily life is shortcut to exposure the real you. For instance, I am the one who feel restless after I show an indifferent attitude to the situation that my close friends are undergoing whether good or bad. But the next time I will repeatedly and unintentionally show the same indifference by my reply to them when they are confiding in me. Am I selfish and mean? If so, then why am I willing to listen and exchange thoughts with my friends constantly? The superficial labels here can’t work. They are inability to give a acceptable account to my conflict actions and moods. So, this is me— a perpetual paradox.

From my perspective, today’s topic serves as a pathway to discovering a genuine self, one not defined by ready-made labels such as hobbies, personality traits, nationality, religion, gender identity, and so forth. This leads to the pivotal question: how can I introduce myself to others without resorting to these superficial markers? My answer is that the contradictions embedded within your daily decisions, fluctuating moods, and recurring actions are the most direct revelation of who you truly are. For instance, I am someone who feels profoundly restless after displaying indifference toward the situations—whether good or bad—that my close friends are experiencing. Yet, the next time they confide in me, I unintentionally and repeatedly convey the same indifference through my responses.

Does this make me selfish and mean? If so, why am I consistently willing to listen and exchange thoughts with my friends? Superficial labels fail here; they are incapable of providing a coherent explanation for my conflicting actions and emotions. Thus, this is me—a perpetual paradox.

    • “easy-get labels” → “ready-made labels” / “easy categories”。
    • “exposure the real you” → “are the most direct revelation of who you truly are” / “the shortest path to exposing your authentic being”。
    • “can’t work” / “inability to give” → “fail” / “are incapable of providing” / “are rendered useless” / “utterly inadequate”。
    • “constantly” → “consistently” / “steadfast”。
    • 合并与简化句式:将“For instance, I am the one who feel… bad.”
    • 将“the paradox in your decisions、moods、and actions of your daily life”优化为 “the contradictions embedded within your daily decisions, fluctuating moods, and recurring actions”。
    • 将“show an indifferent attitude”和“show the same indifference”分别润色为 “displaying indifference”“convey the same indifference”,避免重复,用词更丰富。

What event or moment was the most unforgettable for you in 2025? And what is the thing you most want to do in 2026?

Happy new year! For me, the most unforgettable event was I gradually got adapted to live alone. In this year, the person that I loved deeply had gone far away. But there is always a piece of her inside me. Every decisive action and brave life gesture of her had a silent but profound impact on me. By learning how to say goodbye to her gave me a whole new courage to face difficulties that I had escaped in the past. In the 2026, I want to polish my professional ability to a high level until I beat down the sustaining emerged dilemma of living with this wisp of change that she left to me.

In 2025, the most unforgettable thing for me was that I gradually got adapted to living alone. This year I spent more time on myself. ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day.’ Please watch the video and share your own stories.

Today’s topic is about perseverance. Although there are full of uncertainty in nowadays world, perseverance is still the most worthing investment spirit to surf ahead on the wave of risks. Running teaches me how to build Rome with bricks day after day. For the end of becoming more fit, I began to run 5 years ago. At first, It spended 7 minutes for me to run only 1 km and that short toy running distance nearly killed me. I panted intensely and felt my lungs like a bursting boom during my first running. But guess what? I am a marathon runner now! I can run a complete marathon within 200 minutes. Every step that I take during 5 years’ running builds my body little by little just like building the Rome.

Obviously, today’s topic is perseverance. Even in a world filled with uncertainty, perseverance remains the most worthwhile investment for navigating the waves of risk. Running has taught me the essence of the proverb, “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” Five years ago, I started running to get fit. Back then, it took me 7 minutes just to finish a single kilometer—that “toy distance” nearly killed me! I panted heavily, feeling as if my lungs were about to explode. But guess what? I am a marathoner now! I can finish a full marathon within 200 minutes. Every step I’ve taken over these five years has built my strength and mind, brick by brick, just like building Rome.
